Free Birds Special School, a project of The Empire School System, is dedicated to providing quality education, care and support for children with special educational needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow and develop with confidence.

Our free support campaign

Through our Fee-Free Campaign for Special Children, we aim to make specialized education and support accessible to the families who need it most. Our program provides support for children experiencing:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Cerebral Palsy (CP) Down Syndrome Physical and developmental disabilities Speech and communication difficulties Learning and behavioural challenges Mobility and motor difficulties

Hearing impairment

We educate children with hearing impairment through sign language

Children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn here in the language that reaches them. Lessons are taught in sign language alongside visual learning strategies, and auditory training is added wherever a child has usable hearing.

We teach the signs to families too, in free Saturday sessions, so that communication does not stop at the school gate.

Structured play, exploration and creative learning for ages 3 to 7, mornings Monday to Friday.
